CASA SANTA GEMA

Santa Gema is a community space of encounter where several activities are carried out to promote personal and spiritual growth for everyone involved.

Its purpose is to create a space of belonging, a safe place for children, youths and their families to get together and help them identify and use their potential. It´s an environment where academic content is shared and learnings are consolidated. But, above all, it’s a space where affection, respect and support are provided. Activities finish with time for community prayer.

Santa Gema is a place where encounters with others produce a positive and profound change in all those involved.

Activities undertaken:

  • Once a week (Saturdays between 3 pm and 6 pm): learning support, games, assistance, prayer

  • Once a week (Thursdays between 10 am and 1 pm): listening sessions and support for women

  • Once a week (Mondays between 9 am and 12 pm): providing children from 3 months to 4 years, cognitive, affective, evolutionary and spiritual stimulation.

Oga volunteer steering committee is formed by a total of 14 former MH students who, loyal to their Passionist spirit and with great effort and solidarity inclination, decided to form part of this organization, professionally undertaking the endeavors and commitments entailed .
